EDUCATION AND TRAINING POLICY
In line with our department's goal of "training well-educated human resources with developed thinking skills and a lifelong learning awareness," our "Education and Training Policy" consists of the following elements:
- Providing an academic teaching environment integrated with national and international quality standards, the requirements of the age, developing technology, and research studies.
- Establishing a progressive education philosophy that supports lifelong personal and social development by creating efficient and lasting learning with student-centered, interactive, active learning-teaching techniques.
- Creating sufficient and accessible education and training opportunities and environments for all students, including disadvantaged groups.
- Becoming a competitive university at the national and international level with best practice examples.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT POLICY
Moving from our department's principle of "human and nature benefit," which is prioritized in every field, and with the goal it has set as one of the research universities in our country, our "Research and Development Policy" consists of the following elements:
- To encourage innovative product and service-oriented scientific studies with its strong infrastructure and academic staff, with an approach that takes into account international priorities, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and our country's, region's, and university's sustainability-related goals.
- To contribute to the social, cultural, economic, scientific, and technological development of humanity with its innovative and creative approaches, with the aim of contributing to the universal knowledge accumulation, with the awareness of the contribution of the success achieved in the field of research and development to education and training activities.
INTERNATIONALIZATION POLICY
Our "Department Internationalization Policy," created by taking into account the expression "to be a leading university recognized in the world" in our university's vision, consists of the following elements:
- To increase the potential for cooperation in the fields of international culture, art, sports, education, research, and community service, in relation to the goal of "developing our university's relations at regional, national, and international levels and increasing its social contribution" in Çukurova University's strategic plan.
- To strengthen the communication network with our international graduates.
- To increase our department's international visibility and recognition.
QUALITY POLICY
Our department's "Quality Policy" consists of the following elements, in line with its core values and goals for education and training, research and development, social contribution, internationalization, management systems, and leadership:
- To ensure the dissemination and continuity of program accreditation, institutional internal and external evaluation studies by creating the quality system in a way that is open to change and development in line with the participation, needs, and expectations of all our stakeholders.
- To design and develop the education and training approach in accordance with the requirements of our age and technological developments, in accordance with national and international quality criteria, and to improve it through continuous improvement.
- To ensure the adoption of the internal quality assurance system by closing the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycles in our department's quality assurance processes.
SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION POLICY
In accordance with the conditions set by Çukurova University's Social Contribution Policy, our "Department Social Contribution Policy" consists of the following elements:
- To contribute to the well-being of our country and increase our department's recognition in international arenas with the management, education and training, research and development, social, cultural, artistic, environmental, health, sports, and community service projects carried out in our department.
- To act with the aim of continuous development of awareness and solution of problems with social responsibility projects that can be the voice and conscience of humanity at regional, national, and universal levels, in cooperation with all our stakeholders.
- To be sensitive not only to people but also to nature, the environment, and other living things, without compromising our culture and values within the framework of moral, ethical, and legal rules.
